The look of the handle is ok. The details look great. The investment was not large for my application. I took the rubber grommet out of the hole and replaced it with three nuts that fit the threads on the B&M shifter I'm using (1.5" x 20"). The hole in the handle was half the size needed for my application. I drilled a hole for three nuts. Then I screwed the nuts onto the shifter. I then applied a 2 part epoxy to the inside of the knob and to the nuts on the shifter and covered the hole in the…

The plastic is transparent and then painted a translucent red color and it would be nice if it was evenly covered. Unfortunately, it looks like someone sprayed the red dye with their eyes closed because they missed some blemishes that did NOT make it appear red.
