Review on πŸ”Œ Legrand 1597TRWPDB Self-Test Screwless Resistant Outlet Cover by Todd Look

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pretty basic, works well

This is the product you need and think about when things go wrong (like a hurricane destroying things) or upgrades like a bathroom or kitchen renovation. GFCIs are important as this usually means the outlet is near water or moisture, so I'm leaning toward the types I've used in the past. This is what I used before so I wanted to try it. Installation was pretty easy, it was what I expected. If you've ever swapped out an outlet, I think you should be able to. But first be sure, turn off the power and use a multimeter to make sure the power is off. It's a little heavier than I expected (not heavy, but substantial in a good way). This one goes perfectly with the other white spouts in the bathroom and fits in the bathroom's original first aid kit. The test function works and I like how it tests continuously. I haven't had any problems or failed tests yet. If you've ever had a failed test, it means you should replace it. This should offer a few years of life, but only time will tell. I like it and I think it's good if you need a GFCI.
