I ordered this in April and finally got around to making a video with it and to be honest I'm disappointed that there is noticeable noise and hum in the shot, which makes me waste extra time cleaning up in post-processing. Note. I record with a Sony recorder, which usually produces a very crisp, clear sound with good external mics. Unfortunately, the return period has expired, otherwise I would have sent it back. I tried not to spend a lot of money on Rode, but I think I've learned my lesson. Also note that the noise is very noticeable when I use the +20dB setting, making this feature really useless. Save yourself the hassle, just get Rode Video Pro.
