The specifications say that the input cable works with my camera. It's not like this. I had to return for a different model.

Low price, high quality. Works well right out of the box. Came with two soundproof sleeves, one foam sleeve and one windproof sleeve. The headphone jack is a definite plus. The only downside is that the fuzzy windsleeve is difficult to put on the foam sleeve or very loose when soloing the mic.

This mic works great. Provides pure signal amplification and attenuation. Direct headphone output. Good beam pattern and focus. A lot of technology for the price. We use it to shoot a documentary with a Sony A6500. Couldn't be happier.

I ordered this in April and finally got around to making a video with it and to be honest I'm disappointed that there is noticeable noise and hum in the shot, which makes me waste extra time cleaning up in post-processing. Note. I record with a Sony recorder, which usually produces a very crisp, clear sound with good external mics. Unfortunately, the return period has expired, otherwise I would have sent it back. I tried not to spend a lot of money on Rode, but I think I've learned my lesson…

The sound quality of this microphone is excellent. It really competes with high quality microphones. First, I unknowingly sent the product back, thinking the shock absorber was too loose. I later learned that it shouldn't be hard and is actually a sign of great quality. I'll buy the mic again because otherwise it's great.

This microphone has worked great so far. The only problem I've had so far is that my batteries have been dying. I think that's because it turned on in my pocket and discharged when I wasn't using it. Otherwise it worked very well. I also like the ability to add a monitor headset. I haven't used this in video shooting yet, but it worked very well in testing.
