The charger I've always dreamed of

If you do what I do and keep your laptop chargers plugged into the mains in one place more or less permanently (to keep charging at home easy to do), you face the problem of what to do when you leave town for more than a day. Well, it's easy - unplug your charger and take it with you. Except it might not be that easy depending on how your chargers are connected. Mine are in a closet and it takes a lot of crawling to remove and swap out a specific charger. Or what to do if the charger fails? Replacing it can be tricky - you could end up paying the manufacturer quite a bit if it's even available. Along with this charger which, as they say, is above what I've always wanted. It runs on 120-240V, which is good for international travel (with a plug adapter), and outputs 18-20V, which is ideal for almost all laptops and some Chromebooks. plug into laptop. Well they got you covered. The charger comes with a wide range. and I mean big. different plug tips that all fit into the universal connector on the charger. I was able to connect any of my laptops - I think I have four of them - without too much trouble. Adjusting the tips takes a bit, and you should definitely do a test charge before heading out. But then you mark the connector with tape or something, and you only have to do this once for each laptop. And the 65W output power is more than enough to charge devices at pretty good speeds. A few pointers: be careful when connecting the (correct) tip to the universal charging port. There are small pins, they're tight, and it looks like they might bend if you misalign them or try to force them to install. Another thing is that Chromebook reach is patchy. My particular Chromebook only charges over a USB-C connection. The charger doesn't come with a USB-C tip, and I think there's a good reason for that - you can mistakenly plug 18 volts into a phone or tablet's 5 volt input. It might not work. The length of the cable is more than sufficient for this charger. This is one that you can take with you or use as a spare or replacement. This is a great product that is incredibly useful. 5 Stars.
