I know wheels are controversial among hamster owners, but I have a very active hamster and needed a safe alternative that would allow her to run around while I emptied out her bin. It runs quite well in it, but the first time the ball was installed, ALMOST ALL but two of the locks broke. The two that didn't break keep the ball closed so I can never take it apart to clean it. In the 1st photo the usual breakdown, most in the same place, and in the 2nd completely crashed. If one or both of the remaining locks broke it would be useless before my hamster could use it. Disappointed because otherwise I thought Kaytee products were really good.
