Full product review to follow. As for the pump's usefulness - it works great. Delivers a metered amount of cream. Great for small areas. However, the pump is no longer usable after 3/4 of the volume. I have to open and close the lid to get the remaining amount. If you're only using it for small areas, you can always swap out the 16-ounce reservoir. However, the pump is not suitable for larger or smaller sizes. I've had skin problems for as long as I can remember. Allergic to almost everything. I have severe allergies, I would develop eczema immediately. Dry, red, itchy, irritated and damaged skin heals slowly. With these bubbles that burst. I also had dermatographic skin that turned red and swelled with light pressure. Too many autoimmune problems. I learned about the role of hydration. fluid gain. Increase healthy fats like avocados. Oily Fish. Broccoli. Sufficient amount of vitamins C and E. Calcium. Like anything else, nutrition, vitamins and supplements are necessary but not sufficient. Environmental factors, heat, prolonged exposure to the sun, pollution - even pet dander, harsh soaps - everything I dealt with in my daily life was still affecting the integrity of my skin. Even my own stress contributed to it. My skin has lost its natural oils. I've tried skin oils, lotions. I still use and love some of them. But. They don't have the same restorative properties. Not the same action. Like CeraVe: Our skin's epidermis – the outer layer – is made up of phospholipids. The ceramides in CeraVe restore these lipids. Restores the integrity of our skin as a natural barrier. But that's not why I love CeraVe. It justifies all its claims - and then some. Non-allergenic. reassuring. No smell bothers me or others. He never looks fat. It's like I can feel that moisture - it's healing - the moment I put anything on my skin. Hyaluronic acid helps to store this moisture - and helps the skin to achieve its full, fresh radiance and healthy appearance. With repeated use over several days, it helps my skin to heal. Whatever condition I am in, it never leaves me. It's not a cure in itself. Treatment. Continually. It restores. That's why my eczema seems to have disappeared. It dries quickly. I never felt anything pulling or pressing on my skin. It penetrates the skin. Doesn't sit upstairs. My friend who also has dry skin issues recommended this. This is the best OTC moisturizer and skin repair product I have ever used. I can't say enough good things about it. Now I just clean. make the world good for me
