I recently sprained my knee and will not be able to walk while it heals. Not exactly sure what was damaged but it didn't really bother me at first until I went out for my regular run the next day. At the three mile mark, my knee actually ruptured (surprisingly, it even sounded like a flat tire) and temporarily hurt, but I still managed to finish my run with minimal pain. From that point on, however, things went downhill and I knew support was needed.
