The GPS power supply consumes a whole smoke lighter, but not for long. It turns out that using a USB adapter can replace a bulky, lighter version. In addition, more USB outputs can be achieved by using such a product. For iOS products, the power per port is about 10W, so 4 ports must be at least 40W. This product seems to be the most powerful version with 4 ports and also with QC 3.0 port. While two are used for GPS and dashcam, two are for charging the iPhone. Haven't tried QC yet, but should be fine. This product feels sturdy, well built and compact. It does not get hot during use and does not emit high-frequency noise unlike some other similar products. This audible noise was due to the DC-DC conversion converting 12V to 5V, and poorly designed converters brought the frequency within the range of the human ear.
