These are fake Pur filters. You are terrible. I bought a box of 6 when I opened my last Pur filter. I thought it would be the same but cheaper. Well, CHEAP. I thought something was wrong when I installed it and the light kept flashing amber and then turned red. But I just changed the filter. Oddity number 1. Then I let water through and you would think I spilled black sand into the water. It was black and rough. Strange number 2. I could see some charcoal for the first few seconds, but for 2 half gallon pitchers? Rough. I thought, 'This thing must have been used incorrectly. Let me check that out." And oddity number 3: The thing fell apart. The tip fell off in my hand. It's not even put together properly. It's complete crap, or whatever it is, the black sand coming off flowed into these pieces of junk. So the moral of the story is DO NOT BUY THIS CHARACTER. I wish I knew how crappy they are before my return time is up. Please remove them from your sell line and PLEASE take them back and give give me my money back it's rubbish
