I needed a secure travel backpack that would have enough space for my 13-inch laptop, a point-and-shoot camera, a charger, some paperbacks, and everything else if I had leftovers, I could stuff them in there. I also wanted something thinner because I don't like turning around and bumping into people on a train or bus. I just used it for a 2 week trip to Italy and was very happy with it. Great carry-on for the plane as I could stow my laptop in it and took it with me every day to store my compact camera, some paperback travel guides, snacks, my rolled up little jacket, charger and water bottle. I used zippers whenever I was on the bus or train and never felt unsafe. Holds my other essentials.--The security zippers don't have a lock, but the clip mechanism makes it impossible for you to open them without your knowledge. And when the zips are up and closed, they're well hidden. -- Water bottle holders on the sides are a nice bonus. -- The front pocket has multiple inner pockets and is good for storing smaller essentials. -- The back is nicely padded Cons: Seriously, no.
