I bought this for my kayak as most bike cables are too short. Works perfectly. Long enough to fit through scupper holes and around a pole, tree or whatever you need to secure. When camping, I leave my kayak tied to the trailer frame or trailer steps. Programmable combination lock so I don't forget the combination and lose the key. Positive and negative - the spools make it compact and neat for storage, but they are a bit stiff and unwind just enough for use. Also long enough to attach two bikes together or tie a bike to a larger object like a pole or tree. Overall, I think the product is great and would happily buy it again.
