Fits my 1980's Hobart Kitchen-Aid Compactor

My compactor is the 1983 Hobart Kitchen-Aid Compactor which is 18" in diameter. There are buttons on the side of the box. I use plastic bags from the supermarket but the bags keep falling back into the box when the compactor is used. I bought these, they came up, filled almost the entire bag (with daily compaction), the bag did not tear and did not fall into the box from the sides. So far, so good. It is very nice that you do not have to adjust the bag every time. After reading other posts I found out that you can just punch holes in other pockets (yup) and they work in a standoff. So if they run out or I can't find them anymore, I will. I will poke holes in other pockets. But they work great. As for the thickness, I only have one other brand (Kroger own brand) and the thickness is comparable. If they break I will update my review. The size fits my compactor which is a bit larger than those available on the market which are usually 15 inches. my 18 inch kitchen helper/hobart is fine.
