Review on πŸͺ’ Straight Razor Kit with Strop - Natural Wood Scale Straight Edge Razor – Precisely Sharpened, High Carbon Steel Cutthroat Blade, Vintage Wood Handle, Barber Razor by Kesha Walker

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It's far from ready to shave.

I flashed it over 100 times before using it. The blade was very dull, resulting in jags. I wanted to try them because I was tired of my facial hair getting stuck on the regular Mach 3. I may have to resharpen them with stones. I'll try that first and then move on. Otherwise maybe this whole industry is a scam and regular cartridge razors are better. I will write another review from there. I'm angry that the bluntness of the blade has sprained and lacerated my skin. So I went back and tried to sharpen it, very lightly and without much pressure on the whetstone, the blade broke. I do not recommend this product. I immediately bought another one called "Golden Dollar" as it also seems to be the more recommendable Chinese one. If it's still not good I'll try it for $200 and if not I'll move on to safety razors. My facial hair is very thick, surprisingly 1/4 Asian since my mother is half Asian, my facial hair is much coarser than my father who is all white (Italian and German). That's what led me to the razor, my hair gets stuck in normal cartridges that I can't just tap and pull off like normal people. I can never get them to fully open up.
