My only complaint is that the instructions were poor. It seemed to be about connecting the lightstrip to the controller with a connector, when in fact there are 6 wires to connect. There was no information or guidance on how they would connect. Turns out you press the "screw" above each hole, insert the wire, and release to lock it in place. Once it was connected I plugged it in and it turned on. I was worried that one of the cables wouldn't go through or something. I then went to my Hue app and told it to look for new devices. He immediately found the streak of light! And I. Turn it on, SmartThings sees it too now. The short length (80 inches) is perfect for my dark staircase!
