Decent mount in the right conditions

Firstly, not to get in the way, I really like the mounting options with this stand, the support for mounting the collar or the edge of the desktop mount as I like the collar got exactly in a great place for that. I also like the building materials as this coaster is mostly metal. This creates a heavy but rigid object. I also like the included cable clamps, although they don't allow for more than my 3 DP cables and 3 power cables. The first impressions of the stand were very positive when I unpacked it and prepared it for assembly. The mounts that attach to the VESA holes are also easy to use as the top ones are designed to fit the top 2 screws into the mounting holes and then the monitor slides onto the mount before attaching with the bottom screws is attached. This process makes installing screens very easy. Without saying that, let me explain why this isn't working for me. same height and width. Each monitor weighs 11.6 pounds, plus or minus one tenth. The 2 monitors have Dell speaker panels installed, increasing the minimum weight but still keeping the total weight well under the 17lb maximum limit. large corner desk and sits in the corner of my office about 3 inches from the wall. My goal was to set it up to support my monitors in the corner of this room to create a small viewing area. The problem with this stand in this scenario is that while it supports monitors up to 27 inches, in order to put the monitors together frame by frame for a more solid look, you need to have some space behind the table. The arms are articulated extensively to keep the monitors connected by flexing the joints and moving the joint backwards as shown in the product images. If you are close to a wall, you cannot get this effect. Also, in the same scenario, the center monitor will move away from the two side arms as you position them, making the center screen recessed in relation to the others. For my setup, I rested my arm against the wall to get the monitors as close as possible, but the two side monitors still sit further apart in an awkward position. As I said, the instructions are ok, but some details are missing. . One of those details is that you can adjust the height of the brackets behind the installed screens to move the top in line with the center. I figured this out through trial and error and at least managed to get the side panels flush with the center despite there being a large gap between them. However, after running it for two days, both side arms were 1/2 to 1 inch below the center screen. As a result, the side arms sag slightly. They sagged a bit right out of the box which means I have limited room to get the sidewalls back up to the correct height. Another complaint I have is the amount of movement in the brackets. In position and tightened, the screws behind each screen still have some wobble, and while it's not a big deal unless you're constantly positioning them, that play is enough to bang the backs of the arms and mounts against my wall when I do moving around or standing at my desk, it vibrates a little, which means black spots appear on the wall. I think this mount would be great if I used it to mount screens almost flat rather than in a corner and if I had about 6-12 inches between my desk and the wall so I could move the position of the screen . I also think it would work if I had bigger monitors to fill the space. a bad choice for a mount, I also don't think it will support the weight of 27" screens well given the sag I experience with 11lb 23" monitors. However, your mileage may vary. As for me, I should come back and look for a better, more stable solution.
