📸 Enhance Surveillance with Wyze Window Mount for Wyze Cam v3 Review

I have hurricane proof windows so I wasn't sure if that would work with them but it does! At night I get amazing pictures that I've never had before. I didn't attach it to my window, just attached it to my camera and placed it on the windowsill right next to the window and it works great. I disabled night vision and status light as instructed. I'm very happy with it!

The case is short for no reason, there is a lot of space around the camera. C Seeamera will slide out in a few hours. Poor design, this could be a good product if the camera could be mounted on a bracket or at least had a few holes to attach with a zip tie or silicon strap. Did I mention this product is overpriced? This first generation is not recommended, maybe I'll buy the next improved version.

The images in the ads look like they have a tinted glare shield (like a polarizing lens) in front of the lens. There is no lens. It's literally just a silicone ring with double-sided adhesive that sticks to the window. I think it's acceptable if it's sold that way. It has color night vision (it's only against your window) BUT you can't use IR for darkness anymore. So that doesn't do me any good as I would have to leave the outside lights on all night to see anything. I paid $10 by the way. Good

I have dark shutters on the front of my house so it's very hard to tell if I have cameras until it's too late. While viewing through glass without using this mount makes a huge difference, don't expect it to be like pointing a v3 camera directly without going through the glass. It will still have some refraction under certain conditions, and in my use it's not as bright and clear as if it didn't go through the glass at all.
