Review on 🎤 Elgato WAVE Microphone 1 (USB-C) in black by Aneta Kaczmarska ᠌

The build quality of the microphone is simply superb, everything fits like a Swiss watch. The microphone is completely made of plastic, but of very high quality, I did not immediately determine that the edging of the microphone was made of plastic, it felt like aluminum, the stand was made of metal (rather weighty). At first it seemed that plastic materials were somehow cheap, but no, later I realized what a huge plus it is, the microphone is very light, due to this you can hang it on absolutely any (even the most cheap) pantograph, install it on any stand (be it goose neck), and it will stand like a monolith. The sound of the micro is just excellent, it captures everything clearly (does not miss a single word of yours), why I say so, before it stood (almost 2 years) the well-known Blue Yeti with definitely tuned filters + noise reduction (not in G Hub), while it is enough often did not capture my words at low speech volume (not to mention a whisper), Elgato Wave 1 with all the same filters and at similar microphone volume settings, from the same distance, speech recording does not miss a single word of mine, even if I speak very quiet (it's just chic), the keyboard and mouse in the background sound a little quieter than on the Blue Yeti. But it should be borne in mind that this micro is exclusively unidirectional (supercardioid), i. E. there is no mode selection. The software is a separate cherry on the cake, I won’t describe it in detail, briefly, in fact it is a virtual mixer, with the ability to connect plug-ins from version 1-3 to VST channels (which gives you simply enormous scope for action), i. E. what is convenient (for those who are in the tank), you can adjust your voice as it should in the microphone software itself and then output it wherever you want, and not configure it in each separate program. In my opinion, this microphone is simply the best inexpensive solution for implementing sound recording for podcasts, streams, etc.
