Review on Avalon A8CTBOTTLELESSBLK Touchless Hot & Cold Water Dispenser with Self Cleaning, NSF Certified Filter, UL/Energy Star, Countertop, Black by Jennifer Palmer

Our first Avalon countertop hot and cold water dispenser had problems, so we've deducted a star. We had hot and cold water intermittently, but the cold water was spotty from the start and within a few weeks completely stopped working. We tried to be patient with all the troubleshooting that Avalon Support tried to offer remotely, but we're busy at the university office (and also during one of our busiest times of the year) so it got boring pretty quickly. Of course we didn't want to wrap it up and send it back more than they wanted, but it takes quite a long time to troubleshoot when time is short. It's not their fault the issue dragged on for weeks due to lack of time but we got to the point where we regretted choosing to buy online rather than something local and we weren't sure if whether we even wanted to replace it with another block. But we did it, and - fingers crossed - the second block still works great! Very hot and very cold water with great taste in a nice case that doesn't take up much space! We are very satisfied with the second device! Despite all the shortcomings, Avalon's support was 5 stars! They could not have been more helpful and quicker to respond! They tried very hard to find the problem, kept touching the base and were very patient with us even if we didn't have time for a few days to try the proposed solution. So, in general, our experience has been positive, but we hope that the new device will be a great ending to our saga!
