I used this bottle for several nights. Leave the water overnight, 8-10 hours. It was a stringy brassy taste. But the next day I felt great. The 2nd night I felt fine but not as good as the 1st night. Maybe I haven't been out of the water that long. Not sure. 3rd night was good. 4th night. I used flavored water and wondered if it would taste different. I took a few big sips and then noticed that it has a very strong sour taste! After about 30 minutes I felt bad. I've read that juice or similar isn't poured into a copper vessel, but I didn't realize flavored water would have the same effect. I was sick, sick for about 24 hours. Light cramps. Then I was fine. Since then I have been using this bottle very carefully. I clean with baking soda and a bottle brush. I also fill it up halfway in the morning and make sure to let the water sit for about 4 hours before inserting. It helps, I see the health benefits. My body seems to feel energized for the next 24 hours after use. Although I read good and bad reviews of copper vessels before ordering this, I've learned even more since then. The bottle is beautifully designed. My water stays cold. But I give 3 stars because the bottle leaks even though there is a plastic ring. In addition, this bottle should contain additional information about use, benefits, potential risks and hazards.
