From an engineering perspective, this gadget is really effective. Turbine-style blowing (even well-balanced, silent, and prolific for the same reason), air intake from the side of the building, and the supply of humidified air upwards are all features. Simple to empty and refill with water from the top. Never in a million years did I imagine that the Chinese technological miracle would inspire me to write about. For me, it was a satisfying read.
