This was the perfect solution for installing my Dell XPS 13 under my desk. The plastic is strong and the size is perfect for holding the laptop securely while still allowing me to access all ports and easily remove the laptop if needed. When I work from home, I only use an ultrawide monitor, so being able to store my laptop while it's connected to the monitor was important to free up desk space. This was the only solution I found that met my needs. Since the underside of my desk is particle board, I knew that no screw-on option would be stable. The adhesive on this device is STRONG. Take them seriously when they say you need to measure and test before removing the strips from the adhesive. If even one corner of the sticky surface touches the surface, it's permanent. There is definitely no way to change the position. I took their advice and gave the mount 72 hours to cure before putting the laptop inside. It's been holding up strong for a month, even with a warm laptop 24/7. Good product!
