Featuring a 6 year old Jack Russell Terrier who barks incessantly and a 6 month old Rottweiler puppy, this device gets dogs immediately aware of the sound and me holding the bark control device in my hand. I'm a short silence for the Jack Russell Terrier and her protégé, the Rottie pup, whose breed doesn't tend to bark like terriers do. My husband and I use it as a teaching tool to get the attention of a puppy who wants to befriend our older cat who is not interested in friendship. Very quick response to the device when training and reinforcing positive behavior when breaking old bad habits for Jack Russell Terriers. My only regret is that I didn't purchase the unit sooner and bought two so my husband and I could both be there. I am amazed at the quick results and their accommodating demeanor. This is a winner for training two different age dogs with two different innate skills. I am really impressed. The device itself is durable enough for extended use and requires little to no practice or training before use. Wow. just wow.
