I use these for my work laptop and have been going through 3 parts for 6 months, I keep them in one place at home and have been working hard on them If you bend too much, but it doesn't seem to matter, the internal wire will start to lose connection and you'll have to spend 10 minutes trying to find a middle ground so you have power. For the price I would have expected a little more durability but to be honest the laptop isn't great either so I'm not surprised.
