Wow. What a mistake can do to your creativity. I really liked the little wooden box and needed more leather sewing needles so I bought these. I got them and started stabbing myself non-stop because they were sharp and not blunt. In short, I bought the wrong ones, but the sharp ones turned out to be much better than the blunt ones. These were narrower needles, slightly longer than the needle and with a protruding large eye, but razor sharp. So I just blunted some of them to use. This is the best mistake I've ever made when it comes to skin care. If you sew a lot and use 1mm thick flat wax thread, I strongly recommend using sharp needles and you will dull several pieces at once. They are amazing. PS The suitcase they are in is insanely beautiful. worth it just for that.
