Yes it's an OFC, yes it's the right sensor. So what's the problem? Well, you CANNOT separate two wires! The insulation is designed so that if you try to separate the wires, it will peel off on one side exposing the copper wire. What a complete disappointment! By simply separating the wires and not even an inch down, the insulation will break on one side. I had to connect my DVC subwoofers in series and parallel, so I had to split the cable to connect different voice coils, which wasn't possible. I tried to break them, rip them out. Even a razor cut is useless since the wires are connected in pretty much the same insulation. I returned this item and will now think twice before ordering from InstallGear again. Actually it's sad. In any case, be careful, the wires cannot be successfully disconnected without breaking. Purchase at your own risk.
