Review on ๐Ÿฆถ Cramer Dorsal Night Splint: Effective Pain Relief for Plantar Fasciitis by Danny Robertson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Definitely helps my heel but hurts the top of my foot.

This product was recommended to me by my orthopedic practice for treating intersectional Achilles tendonitis. And it helps, just a little. I no longer get up and hobble around like a man 40 years older than me. First of all, the pain in the morning is significantly reduced. However, I cannot give this product 5 stars as there are some issues with it. If I fasten my seat belts tightly before going to bed (not tight, just tight), I wake up in pain after 5-6 hours of sleep. Pain in tip of foot, over bone leading to big toe. Burning pain. At this point the hoop is removed for the rest of the night. I've been trying to change the way I wear the split. Releasing the buttocks results in less pain, but the splint can slip and I can stretch my toes in my sleep, which is the opposite of what a splint should do. Undoing the top straps results in the same pointed finger effect. The only way I've found to keep my ankle bent is to tighten the straps snugly. I wear a sock under the tire for extra cushioning. This morning I photographed the scar left by the tire. A few hours later it's still itchy. (Sorry about the toes, I'm a runner - pedicure isn't my top priority.) If anyone else has had this issue or has any suggestion for upper foot pain, I'll listen.
