I have a hand winch that I use to tow things. Items or loads (large branches, small boulders, pallets, engines, etc.) on my 2 (two) service trailers. I put tow hooks on the top of the neck/tongue of the trailers that attach to the tow ball. I installed a short piece of hoop steel on the underside of the tongue with two holes for bolts to go through to give the trailer tongue extra support. I attached a chain to the frame of the hand winch and just snap it onto the hook. It works great and can turn at an angle if the load is not quite centered on the trailer. This worked great for this purpose. Save me as I have severe spinal stenosis in several areas of my spine. What a great helper.
