Every morning, whatever the weather, I go to the nearby forest with my two dogs, Bretagne. Last week we had 4 inches of sleet followed by rain. People and dogs turned the mud into a real mess that froze as the temperature dropped. This created an icy lunar landscape that was almost impossible to traverse without falling. My Brittany and I need exercise so I ordered SHARKMOUTH. The large size is perfect for my heavy 9-1/2 hiking boots. They are so easy to skate on hard ice! I always wear them on my boots and leave them by the door because my wife won't let them wear them on a carpeted floor. I would highly recommend them to anyone covering any distance on ice. However, they do not have front tips and they are not true crampons, but they are essential for hiking on icy trails.
