A simple upgrade makes it so much better

I bought this computer as a family computer to replace an older desktop computer. The desktop had a 4th generation Intel Core I7 processor and a non-SSD hard drive. This computer is much faster! It loads very quickly and everything is very cheerful and responsive. However, as many people use it and keep software and browser tabs open, it quickly runs out of memory. 2 of 8 GB of RAM are reserved for the graphics card, this cannot be changed. Once the RAM starts to fill up, it becomes very sluggish. As if half a second elapsed from entering a character to it appearing on the screen. Sometimes I could type multiple words with no visual response, and then they would all appear at once. It turns out that this version of the computer is equipped with an 8 GB RAM stick. I opened the back (there are tutorials on YouTube, just a Phillips screwdriver and pick or credit card) and took a picture of the flash drive, then bought an identical flash drive for $35. If you're the only user and keeping tab count to a minimum, you probably don't need it, but RAM actually runs faster with two sticks than one, so this is a very good tweak. For me, I believe this computer will cost $535 plus a bit of hassle. For the price, this is very good value for a super slim new laptop. I should also note that installing the RAM was incredibly easy, and it looks like swapping out the SSD will be very easy. There's also plenty of space, which I think is for a mobile hard drive (traditional form factor, not M2), and the battery can be swapped out with just a few screws.
