I was really hoping that the color would be lighter than what my computer screen showed, but it wasn't. In any case, these cases are of excellent quality. While microfiber (a really inferior material made up of polyester and nylon) seems to have taken over the world of bedding, cotton remains the best truly breathable fabric. This was one of the cheapest cotton covers I could find and as anyone who knows fabric quality can tell you, it gets softer with more use and more washes. Unless you're very good with fabrics, remember that cotton will always have wrinkles (unless it's a formaldehyde-treated, wrinkle-resistant material), but does it really matter? Unlike polyester, microfiber and many other materials, this pillowcase does not retain heat, which makes sleeping more comfortable. Whatever it is, it's great - good quality, has held up well with use and washing, and fits my body pillow better than the RevainBasics brand cover I bought. Now I just need to find it in a color that better matches my bedding.
