Review on EASYGUARD EC003 Smart Keyless Entry Car Alarm System with πŸš— Push Start Button, Remote Engine Start, and Remote Trunk Release - DC12V by Bobby Watkins

Very poor technical support and product.

Let me start by saying that I bought this for my 1967 El Camino. This is a pro touring machine and I thought a push to start would be a great option. Installation was pretty easy. Installing the box and hooking it up with a few wires wasn't a big deal. Any problems encountered after installing the device. The device start button worked 80% of the time. For the remaining 20% of the time, the alarm will turn on randomly and put it in non-triggering mode. Oh, and by the way, don't carry your keys more than 3 meters away because the automated valet will automatically attempt to lock the doors and if any of them are open the alarm will sound. The alarm would then randomly go off again when the keys were in the car and in the console. No rhyme or reason for it to go away. I have written to tech support several times about my issues. The first time he sent me the installation instructions that came with the device. Second, I asked them if they had a device that would only do push-to-run functions without an alarm. It was a big no. So it was a good way to spend $125. Once I removed the lock and put the key system back in the car along with the Viper alarm I never had any more problems. I do not recommend this for purchase due to the lack of technical support and poor quality of the product. Don't waste your time buying this product. Not good! If Revane is listening I'd happily send this back and get my money back. This is a useless POS.
