Review on Motorcraft YB631 Fan Clutch by Terry Myers

2005 Explorer. As part of the driver's side head overhaul I replaced the radiator, all hoses, starter, alternator, fan clutch, accessory belt, idler pulley and water pump. All parts were Motorcraft or Delco except for the fan clutch. I fell in love with "GMB 925-2130 Engine Cooling Fan Clutch (@$36)". Justification, its top level part can be easily replaced. The $36 clutch doesn't disengage and reduces fuel economy by 2 mpg. Read my GMB 925-2130 review. The point of this review: do the job once, buy Motorcraft, that's a $91 deal. The fan clutch works like the original OEM. I also got my fuel economy back.
