I bought these hair ties for my girl who has a lot of hair and needs something to tie it up. When I was looking for headbands, I liked the bright colors and bought them. But for me it didn't serve the purpose. Although the thickness is suitable for children's hair, it breaks easily after a few hours of knotting. They are not durable but stretch well. Thinking I'd stretched too much, I tried to tie her hair back with just two stitches. But unfortunately that didn't work either and it broke her hair and sometimes fell to the ground while crawling. My baby picks everything and puts it in her mouth and it's so scary to tie those rubber bands, they fall or break, and one day it happened that the hair band was on the floor and she wanted to chew it. Luckily we saw it in time and pulled it out of our mouths. After this incident, I decided to stop using it as it was possible not to track when it would break and fall to the ground. So I wouldn't say they are durable as they break easily. Maybe it can be used for crafts and not for tying hair because there is a safety issue in my experience.
