Good camera, good exposure. This particular lens has a very weak focus ring, which I don't like. But in general, the camera is a good way to learn photography and take good pictures. . Depth of field preview is very handy, especially when you don't know how different aperture values will affect your image. There is no limit to the number of used lenses you can buy for this camera, so it's easy to shop cheap and put a system together. For what it's worth, I'm old school and have a degree in pre-digital photography.
