I was tired of my mediocre TV speakers and wanted to upgrade at a reasonable price. This soundbar was like that. It is very easy to connect and operate in Bluetooth mode. It comes in handy for those who want to use it as a speaker for a mobile device. I used the remote to change the mode to accept audio jack input. Another setting allows you to receive input over fiber optic cables. The remote control does not come with AAA batteries, so make sure you have them handy. The audio frequency range is very good. I like the high range because it makes the dialogue easier to understand, but the low range is presented well. There are also multiple equalizer modes that change the frequency profile depending on your preferences and what you're listening to through your speakers. I was happy to find that I could connect this soundbar to my old subwoofer that has audio in and out. My setup now sounds like I spent a lot more than I actually did.
