Have been using this product for a few years now. It works very well! We'll add it to our black aquarium when we arrive at our camp. Then when we get home and empty the black tank and are ready to put our RV back into storage, we add it back in and pour 2 to 3 gallons of water into the tank along with it. We have no problem if we follow this method.
