Review on Proraso Refresh Shaving Soap Bowl - 5.2 Oz by Tracy Love

Good: I took the green peel. At first it smells clean, with a distinct hint of menthol. It's creamy, soapy white. Not sure how well it works yet, just glad it doesn't discolour like some of the other reviews. Mine looks clean and white. I'll put it to good use soon. The Bad: After you dip your wet brush into it, the menthol works. It's pretty overwhelming. Smells like menthol cigarettes. Absolutely awesome for me. Running this brush over your mouth and under your nose will make you nauseous. I'm only taking off one star because some people like menthol, but you should like it! If you're like me, you won't like this at all. Like shaving soap, it lathers quite well. The foam for my 2nd round also hurt a lot; so much for the cooling effect of menthol. Subtract a second star for the bite. I'll try their sensitive skin mug (white) and see if it gets better. Update: Tried the white bowl. Much more like that.
