I have used all types of razors since I started shaving years ago but chose Venus because I don't have to use shaving cream and it saves me money and allows me to shower more often. More quickly. Razors cost the same as any other razor, but you go through them SO FAST! That's ridiculous! I never figured out how to hold the foam. Do I keep it in the shower so it's a little wet? Am I keeping it dry? never worked It withered or disappeared from the razor. I started research because I've been using Venus for almost 11-12 years now. I shave every time I shower, shave my legs every day (only my calves (depending on the season and clothing, and always my armpits). I've read a lot of good things about the Schick Hydro and as some have reported it lasts 3 days after shaving i was skeptical at first and had it on my dressing table for a while i took it out for my last shower and it's all true it's just amazing i never thought a shave could last so long! the blade is flat and close to the skin and I wasn't afraid that it would scratch me when I shave. Must buy! I never advertise anything. Never. But it's really worth it. You will be satisfied with the result. With Venus right after day, after 18 hours i feel stubble i still feel nothing and i have 3 days all is true!
