Review on Exploring the Cozy Country Life with Calico Critters Roof Country Home by Charles Long

This is my first time writing a review and I felt I really had to do it to save future buyers time and money. My husband and I bought this for our daughter who is 2 years and 3 months old. As much as she fell in love with the concept, it completely disappointed and upset her. Since all the super small parts are plastic they just slide everywhere and the house itself just sits on top of the bottom half and doesn't even snap or screw in. So the second floor kept falling off with all the parts included. . Those 2 brown platforms you see in front of him don't fit either. They just glide over him, so the slightest touch will send him flying from side to side and everything else will fall with him. I gave it 2 stars because the calico critters are very cute and soft to the touch, not cold and plastic. Also included is a rechargeable battery that turns on the lights in the house, a cool feature, but the whole house doesn't work, at least not for a toddler. I saw a great review of the dollhouse but it was bought for a 10 year old. Do yourself a favor and buy a quality wooden dollhouse to give away. If you want to buy one for a toddler, make sure that the accessory is not too small and strong enough. For children, the simpler the better.
