I have had an electric razor for a little over a year and decided to replace the blades mainly because they fell out when brushing my hair down after use. I thought these new blades would come with a new piece holding them in place, but that didn't happen. However, that's not why I give them such a bad rating. I installed these new blades and got them seated properly. I turned the razor on and it was a lot quieter with these blades than the old blades. However, they only performed half as badly. With these new blades, a close shave took twice as long. I gave him about 3 weeks to make sure there was no break in the time they would find their rhythm but no luck. Also, they pulled my hair out when I shaved after a 2-3 day break when my hair was longer. With the old (original) reeds this was never a problem. I went back to the original blades and threw them away. I would not recommend it.
