These are comfortable straps with 3M tape on each end. Please note that they are not made by 3M but by Yeya in China. There are instructions in fine print. It takes 24 hours for the adhesive surface to take full effect. "Please do not open the security lock in the presence of children, lest children learn how to open it." I have used them to stabilize some collapsible bookshelves. They wobbled because they were placed on a rug and fixing them to the wall stopped the wobbling. Unfortunately, some of them worked overnight. I don't think that would be enough protection against a climbing toddler. Another suggested use is as a closure tape for closets or a fridge, but I haven't tried it. I think effectiveness also depends on the surfaces you intend to stick them to.
