Repairs everything but deep scratches from abuse, that's not what DA

Very nice and powerful car, bought second-hand and used by friends for practice. He had moderately deep whorls all over, with no deep rough scratches. I did about 6 passes and 2 applications of compound for each section. Skip each time you complete the entire section. Before reapplying the composition, I wiped the pad and removed any residual paint from the surface. After application and polishing, the paint was smooth and like new. If you have swirls this can fix it, if it's a particularly worn paint you can try a microfiber cutting board and paste. If you have deep scratches that look white (at least on darker color), they are too deep to repair. If you have a bad bird droppings engraving, you can make it disappear depending on how deep it ate and how long it sat. But DA ultimately needs to be "gentle" and doesn't cut quickly or deeply into clear coat like rotary or wet sanding. However, it's fine for most color correction applications, and you don't risk burning varnish or paint with it.
