During my final ride on the Metal Masher in Moab last year, I began to hear the distinctive clicking sound of the rear drivetrain hinge. After a bit of research and googling, I found an issue with the constant velocity joint on my front driveshaft. Since I have an elevated JK, this is a fairly common issue with a more acute angle on the shaft. I did a bit of research and decided I wasn't ready to shell out a few hundred bucks on a secondary wave just yet (if/if the stock fails, I'll be in the market). I came across this interchangeable joint designed for steeper angles and decided to give it a try. Installation was pretty easy, and TeraFlex makes great installation videos (love your dry sense of humor, Dennis!). An advice. If you split the shaft to make the job easier, mark it first! You'll need to know how to realign it when you put it back together!
