Our old toaster has been a piece of junk since the day we bought it. It took forever to fry and the heat was never even. Forget using it for real cooking. We were about to buy one of the best toasters that would cost us a few hundred dollars when I stumbled across this little gem. He toasts my morning bagel perfectly every time. It's great for warming up a few slices of pizza and I've even baked fresh croissants in it. They came out great. There is a downside, especially for us in the old class who need glasses to read anything. The font on the front panel is too small. The first time I used it, I spent fifteen minutes looking for my reading glasses, which of course were hanging around my neck. One I found them, the rest of the experience was perfect. However, read the instructions. That's not your grandmother's toaster. All in all a great purchase.
