It worked much better than I expected

I bought a pineapple to try. I wasn't expecting to like it very much, but it worked surprisingly well and exceeded my expectations. The box has simple instructions printed on it (with small pictures) but I still wasn't quite sure what I was doing until I started. That. In that moment it was easy. I cut off the top of the pineapple, lined up the metal cylinder with the core of the pineapple and rotated it. That's all. I got it done in less than a minute. To get the pineapple, I pulled the handle and it slid out easily (I was expecting some kind of struggle, but no). There are two ways to remove the pineapple from the cylinder. You can pull the spiral to make the slices fall apart and slide off, or you can remove the yellow handle and push the entire stack together. i did the last one I bought the smallest pineapple I could find after reading other reviews of wasted fruit on the edges. The one I had was still pretty big. A little waste, but nothing bad. Also, my pineapple wasn't as ripe as I'd hoped and felt a little hard, but the device cut through it with no problem. " and I stopped too soon, leaving part of the pineapple at the bottom. This was an easy fix; I just put the metal cylinder back in and screwed it in a second time, and then pulled out the rest of the fruit. Unfortunately, I was CLOSED on the second try Went a long way and lost juice due to a leak from the bottom Pour it into the cup when done There was also a weird little plastic piece in the box to cut pineapple into bite sized pieces I did NOT expect this to work It didn't seem spicy to me. It did a pretty good job. All I did was gently slide it through the pineapple ring across the cutting board. I think this is great for making very thin perfect pineapple slices It's also great for making a pineapple "bowl" that you can use to serve something special at a party ke I think this would be great for making pineapple ambrosi a to serve for Thanksgiving! The pineapple topper can even be reused as a lid. Overall I'm surprised it worked and very satisfied. It was easy to clean. The only shaky part of this whole contraption is where the plastic handle connects to the metal cylinder; You can feel it move a little. But it works fine. A good product.
