Excellent value for money

Excellent value for money. I replaced an original Audio Technica AT3600 standard mount magnetic cartridge on my House of Marley Stir It Up turntable with the Bonus Bob Marley Legend Album, Signature Black (EM-JT000RC-SB) and there wasn't much of a difference, but I noticed a small one Difference. Edge in detail goes to AT95E. However, the AT95E is more sensitive when playing vinyl and more prone to skipping. I set the downforce to 2.5 and the anti-skate to 0. When I map the anti-skating to tf the stylus doesn't catch and play from the extreme blank area I put the stylus in. I have this problem with both new and old vinyl records of different weights. This must be due to the weight or lack thereof of the Stir it Up's arm. However, the original cartridge of the Stir it Up tt did an excellent job. I basically bought this because I wanted to "upgrade". Both carts are good value and I honestly don't think you can go wrong with either. Since it's more sensitive than the AT3600, I'd probably recommend it (if I had to choose between the two).

Pros
  • Elliptical diamond stylus follows the grooves of a vinyl record with great precision for superior sound reproduction
Cons
  • Slightly torn
