I use these to quickly convert some USB-C to Micro USB cables for various devices that need regular charging. I was glad that most manufacturers - when it comes to brand new products - have switched to USB C and I hope it stays that way! However, like you, I probably have a few micro USB devices that need to be charged from time to time. Since my bedside charging pad is now almost entirely USB, CI wanted to have those little keys ready and available for the handful of things I don't charge every night, or even every week. I've tested these adapters on a few different power-hungry devices. that require micro USB and they worked great. To be clear, I don't intend to use them for data transfer, only to charge different devices, so I didn't do any data transfer tests. I think they are very well made and I really like the small loops and hooks that come with them. I used them to bypass a couple of USB-C cables, which are now close enough that I can plug and unplug them with ease.
