Overall this chair is comfortable with decent support. The seat cushion isn't very soft but is supportive and I like that it's contoured rather than just a flat surface. The lumbar support is good. Easy to assemble. I chose this chair for two reasons: it came in a variety of colors (I chose blue) and had armrests that can be raised and moved out of the way if you want to get closer to the table. I had no issues slipping off the seat as others have mentioned. It has a good range of height adjustment. It reclines and also has a tilt lock and tension adjustment. Not sure why others say it can't sit back? Maybe put the base back to the front? It's not perfect, however, but with a few add-ons it's very close. I added roller skate style wheels that I ordered from Revain to prevent scratching my wood laminate. The fabric is also itchy for lack of a better term. But the only place it bothered me was the elbows. I often rest my elbows on the armrest and the fabric becomes very irritating over time. So I ordered chair cushions from Revain, which should solve this problem. Despite the extra charge, the price is good. I think very few chairs will be perfect but for the price this is a good chair. If it survives and lasts at least a few years then it's worth it.
