Working USB to VGA Adapter
This worked great for us. We have an iMac and a very old setup to display something on our church screens. We literally run a VCR (OmyGEEEEE). Until we can convert it to direct HDMI to DVI to HDMI, this has allowed us to upgrade our computer and keep our old setup for now. Great VGA solution! (Remember that you may have to press the "Option" key and then "Resolution" to select 16x9 format) on your Mac.
